Lake Minnequa was created in 1873 to service a steel mill but the people of nearby Pueblo soon adopted it for recreation.  For 70 years or so it was quite a place.  That time has passed.  The remaining locals are watching an attempted rebirth.  In the meantime, it’s good to hang on.
